Physical part → 3D data → CAD model
We reconstruct geometry that is missing from the documentation.
We scan parts and objects, prepare measurement data and design CAD models for analysis, modification, documentation, matching or remanufacturing.

What should be delivered?
A scan, mesh and CAD model are different results.
The scope follows the engineering question. Inspection, replacement design and technical documentation require different data.
Scan and mesh
A representation of accessible surfaces for archiving, measurement, comparison or further processing.
CAD model
Organised surface or solid geometry prepared for the agreed engineering purpose.
Model for modification
Parametric reconstruction of critical features when the part will be changed, developed or reused in another design.
Engineering interpretation
Reverse engineering is not an automatic mesh conversion.
Design intent, datums, symmetry and functional surfaces need to be understood, while wear and deformation must be separated from nominal geometry.
- identify datums and functionally critical features,
- assess surface access and possible blind areas,
- separate wear or damage from intended geometry,
- choose a reconstruction method suitable for future editing,
- compare the result with scan data within the agreed scope.
Process
From intended use to data ready for further work.
Photos, overall dimensions, material, surface condition and the intended use of the result help us assess a request.
Define the objective
We agree purpose, critical features, accuracy and output format.
3D scanning
We prepare the part and capture accessible surface geometry.
Data processing
We clean the mesh, analyse geometry and build the agreed model.
Verification
We compare the result with scan data and hand over the defined output.
Typical applications
When the part exists but usable engineering data does not.
Part without a model
Geometry reconstruction for remanufacturing, analysis or technical documentation.
Modification of an existing part
A CAD starting point for changing interfaces, mounting, shape or function.
Component matching
Capturing surrounding geometry, mating surfaces or shapes that are difficult to measure conventionally.
FAQ
Before sending a part.
Does a scan immediately create an editable CAD model?
No. A mesh is a surface record. An editable model requires a separate reconstruction and engineering-interpretation step.
How should I prepare an enquiry?
Send photos, overall dimensions, material, part condition and a description of how the output will be used.
Can reflective or dark surfaces be scanned?
They often require surface preparation. The method depends on material, coating, access and restrictions concerning the part.
A part without a model or documentation?
Send photos, overall dimensions and the required result.
We will assess the scanning scope, reconstruction method and information needed for a quotation.
